  1. Mixed Flow Fans: This particular fan type is a combination of the features of both the centrifugal and axial types and is majorly being employed for air movement techniques of both. The overall pressure development of this mixed flow fan is certainly greater than that of axial fans. These fans are generally used for moderate commercial ventilation applications and residential purposes.
  1. Tangential fan: These are barrel-shaped industrial fans which are equipped with curved forward blades and are several times longer than the given diameter. These particular fans majorly tend to scoop up the air and deliver relatively lower pressure at a longer length. These fans are ideally used for cabinet cooling or air coverage. They are known to provide absolutely smooth laminar airflow and are widely used in air curtains, air conditioners, industrial racks, computer systems, ovens, convector fans, ventilators and dehumidifiers.
